Ashlee sat in the middle of an empty field and once she again she was in the Greaser's turf. She didn't know why she bothered being in their turf, she was at a risk. She could get in some trouble and Ashlee didn't want that to happen but she couldn't stay away from the beautiful scenary. On this field, Ashlee could see a perfect sunset and she wanted a picture of it. But when Ashlee had left the house, she had forgot to grab her camera. She hadn't expected to find any good places to take a picture.
She was waiting for the sun to fall and the night to take place before she would start heading home. Ashlee knew her house wasn't too far only a ten minute walk. Ashlee turned her head as she noticed some kids, most likely Greasers, walking by the field. She hoped they weren't heading for her, she couldn't exactly tell who was all in the small group.

Sandy was walking down the street with a couple of the other girls when he noticed the figure sitting out on the field. A few of them seemed surprised to see the stranger. The rest might have been surprised too, but if so they didn't show it. They would've continued on their way but Sandy's curiosity got the better of her and, saying goodbye to the others, walked toward Ashlee. Well, one would perhaps call it 'wobbling' rather than 'walking'.
"Hi," she smiled at the other girl. "Mind if I sit down?"

Ashlee turned her head as she heard somebody coming near, she didn't want to seem too jumpy so she stayed still, waiting to see who it was. A female voice was heard and Ashlee turned, smiling up at the other blonde girl.
"No, I don't mind at all. But I must ask what bring's you over here?" Ashlee smiled, she knew she didn't know this girl and wondered what had caught her eye to make her come over here. "I'm Ashley, by the way. Very nice to meet ya." She added in, a smaller smile on her face now.

"Curiosity," she replied, still smiling as she sat down though her weight was exhausting to carry around. "My name's Sandy. Nice to meet you, Ashlee. I haven't seen you here before. Are you new in town?" Thinking that Ashlee might have moved to the place while she was gone the possibility of her being a Soc didn't even cross Sandy's mind.

"What made you so curious?" Ashlee was curious about why she was so curious. Sandy was a pretty girl but Ashlee saw something different, that stuck out. She was pregnant and that made Ashlee wondered how, of course, she would never ask how she got pregnant. It wasn't her place.
"No, I've been here all my life. You might not see me around. I don't usually come out like this. But things have changed...so I guess I'm changing with them." Ashlee told her, smiling a bit. "How long have you lived here?" She wondered if Sandy was among the Greasers or the Socs...or maybe she was just a normal citizen but that seemed unlikely.

Sandy couldn't help but giggle at the girl's question. She shrugged and said; "Guess I've always been a curious person. But whether that's a good or a bad thing I don't know." She looked a tad surprised at hearing that Ashlee had lived there her whole life. Then it dawned on her... "Are you a Soc?" Parts of her kind of hoped she didn't belong to either group, but she knew a few so-called "normal" citizens and she had never seen Ashlee among them or even heard of her. True, she didn't every person in town, but still...

"Yes, I am a Soc." Ashlee didn't like telling people that, she didn't feel the need too. She strongly disliked the groups that they seperated the people in this town into. Why couldn't they all just mix? They didn't have to be friends or talk but they didn't have to be seperated or did they? She didn't know if it caused less problems but in the end somebody got hurt.
Ashlee knew Sandy wasn't a Soc, she couldn't be. She hadn't seen her around at all in the Soc's area but then again she could be wrong. "Are you a Soc?"

Sandy shook her head. "Not at all. I'm just one of your poor girls from the North side of town." Although it usually hadn't bothered her in the past she had in the last months begun to think of herself as merely one of those girls that society never seems to notice, except perhaps when they do something not sociably acceptable, when they could point fingers and say how they knew from the start that things would end up bad. She hated it but there wasn't much she could do about it. "I wish I was a Soc though. ...No... Maybe, I don't know." If she had then she wouldn't have met Soda. Yet on the other hand, if she hadn't, then she probably wouldn't have been were she was today.
