Johnny thought about what he was going to say and began, once more, to wonder why he didn't go to Ponyboy with it instead. Pony was his best friend after all and the one who was most likely to understand. Yet here he was, waiting for Dally. Why? Maybe it was because Dallas had more experience. Granted, it was mostly negative... But still... Johnny just had the feeling this was the right decision.
There was something that had been on his mind for a very long time now, ever since the fire at the church in Windrixville. He had mentioned it to Pony more than once while at the hospital but since he was released he had pushed it to the back of his mind by... Doubt? Insecurity? Maybe even the opposite? But it had resurfaced that day he met Adriane at the park.
Where was Dallas anyway? Johnny thought he would've been here by now.
